Who is the test for

The test for the diagnosis of Covid-19 that allows you to identify who has come into contact with the virus by detecting it in the respiratory secretions.

What the tests detect

The diagnostic test is based on a real-time RT-PCR assay, which allows to detect even very low concentrations of viral RNA.
The test consists in taking a sample of the upper respiratory tract with a swab, in the extraction of RNA and amplification by Real Time RT-PCR which searches in the extracted sample specific sequences of the SARS-CoV-2 virus genome.

Tests available

  • COVID-19: Test that searches for specific sequences of the SARS-CoV-2 virus genome in the extracted sample.
  • COVID-ID: Following a positive COVID-19 test, identifies English variants from Brazilian and South African.
  • COVID-FLU: Test that allows for the differential analysis between visus SARS-CoV-2 and flu virus.
